Muswell Hill, London
About This Project
A comprehensive residential renovation centred around a dramatic glazed loft conversion atop a Victorian property in London. The project involved full structural work to the roof, constructing new timber trusses and installing a striking conservatory-style extension with floor-to-ceiling white-framed windows and a pitched glass roof, flooding the upper level with natural light. The kitchen was completely redesigned with contemporary reeded oak cabinetry, white composite worktops, and a bold decorative patterned tile splashback featuring geometric Moroccan-inspired motifs. Integrated appliances include a gas hob with stainless steel extractor and built-in oven. The bathroom was fully refurbished with floor-to-ceiling green glazed brick tiles, a walk-in shower enclosure with concealed valve controls, and a black heated towel rail. The loft conversion itself was finished as a cosy family room tucked beneath the pitched ceiling, complete with a skylight, oak flooring, and thoughtful detailing throughout.
